Comme des Garçons “White Drama” exhibition in Paris

White Drama is whiteness - pure, ceremonial white of every hue; blossoming flowers,
lace insets inspired by christening robes, an obi-bow belt, layered handkerchiefs, white-
flecked material, overcoats and tall hats reminiscent of the Holy Week processions in Seville.

White Drama is a masterful fashion architecture that transports the viewer to the unique
world of Rei Kawakubo.

‘you can find beautiful things without consciousness’ is the inspiration behind the new Comme des Garçons perfume, called Comme des Garçons, launched last week. In the brand new bottle by Rei Kawakubo, the fragrance is an unusual blend of rose oxides, lilac, hawthorn and scotch tape.

The new Comme des Garçons fragrance opens with the man-made organic composites of aldelhydes and safraleine then opens slowly to hawthorns and derivations of lilac, before exploding into a riot of flower oxides and finally succumbing to notes of industrial glue and brown scotch tape with hints of musk and styrax.
