Rei Kawakubo has designed a Barbie doll for Comme des Garcons as part of the Barbie Collector Platinum Label collection.

Three different Barbie models all styled in Jingle Flowers, Comme des Garçons’ new roses theme. Barbie wears a sleeveless silk-lined floral dress in the Jingle Flowers photo-style print graphic, which features a full asymmetric-cut skirt that stands away from the body. There are three different models: one comes with a blonde short bob, one Asian model with a black long pony tail or the model shown in the image with long brown hair and fringe.

The limited edition Barbie comes in its own box featuring the Jingle Flowers print, and display stand. Barbie by Comme des Garçons was launched in Tokyo last December and became the very first Jingle Flowers product to sell out. We are happy to have three of these very special Barbie dolls in Lil Shop now.

Comme des Garçons has launched Dover Street Market, a new fragrance named for Rei Kawakubo’s London store Dover Street Market.

“I want to create a kind of market where various creators from various fields gather together and encounter each other in an ongoing atmosphere of beautiful chaos: the mixing up and coming together of different kindred souls who all share a strong personal vision.” Rei Kawakubo

We are pleased to present a new arrival: Comme des Garçons and Artek launched their joint creation, the STANDARD fragrance.

The name derives from Artek’s standard thinking, based on Alvar Aalto’s original idea of systems and standards in furniture design. The unisex fragrance was created in line with Artek STUDIO’s brief on combining synthetic and natural elements.

The final scent was developed by Christian Astuguevieille, perfume creator at Comme des Garçons. Find out more…
